Katika dunia inayogawanyika,
Katika wakati ambapo chuki inaenezwa kuliko upendo,
Leo Tanzania tuna ujumbe mmoja, sisi ni waislamu, Shia, Sunni, tofauti zetu zipo, Lakini Mola wetu ni mmoja, mtume wetu ni mmoja,
Kwa nini tugawanyike.
Tumezaliwa, katika ardhi moja,
Tanzania yetu, nyumba ya amani,
Msikiti mmoja, safu moja, tunasimama mbele ya Mola,
Mwingine ni Shia, mwingine ni Sunni,
Lakini wote tunasema, La ilaha illa Allah.
Sisi ni umma mmoja, sisi ni ndugu kwa Allah,
Shia na Sunni, tushikane mikono,
Mola mmoja, Quran moja, Qibla kimoja,
Umma mmoja, Tanzania simama, waoneshe dunia.
Sisi ni ndugu kwa Allah,
Kutoka Dar es Salaam, hadi Zanzibar ya bahari,
Kutoka Tanga nyupepo, hadi Pwani yenye minazi,
Kutoka Arusha, hadi Mwanza, sauti moja ipanza,
Sauti moja ipande, amani ndani ya umma.
Msikiti usiwe mahali pa chuki,
Dini ni rehema, dini ni udugu,
Allah ametukumbusha, nashikamaneni kwa kamba ya Allah nyote wala msifarikiane, Huu ni ujumbe kwa leo na kesho,
Kwa sababu adui wa umma hufurahia tunapogawanyika,
Lakini tunapoungana, tunakuwa nguvu.
Sisi ni umma mmoja, sisi ni ndugu kwa Allah,
Shia na Sunni, katika uislamu,
Tofauti zetu zisiwe kuta kati ya mioyo yetu,
Mola mmoja, Quran moja, Qibla kimoja,
Umma mmoja, Tanzania simama, waoneshe dunia.
Waislamu wanaweza kutofautiana bila kuchukiana.
Mola wetu ni nani? Allah.
Mtume wetu? Muhammad.
Sisi ni nani? Umma mmoja.
Tanzania, simama kama mfano wa umoja,
Shia na Sunni, ndugu chini ya Allah.
English Translation
In a dividing world,
In a time when hate is spread more than love,
Today in Tanzania we have one message: we are Muslims, Shia, Sunni; our differences exist,
But our Lord is one, our Prophet is one; why should we be divided?
We were born in one land,
Our Tanzania, a house of peace,
Our art, a sanctuary of peace,
One mosque, one row; we stand before the Lord.
One is Shia, another is Sunni,
But we all say, La ilaha illa Allah (There is no god but Allah).
We are one Ummah (community), we are brothers for Allah,
Shia and Sunni, let us hold hands,
One Lord, one Quran, one Qibla,
One Ummah, Tanzania, stand up, show the world.
We are brothers for Allah,
From Dar es Salaam, to Zanzibar of the sea,
From breezy Tanga, to the Coast with coconut palms,
From Arusha, to Mwanza, one voice rises,
Let one voice rise, peace within the Ummah.
Let the mosque not be a place of hate,
Religion is mercy, religion is brotherhood.
Allah has reminded us, “And hold firmly to the rope of Allah all together and do not become divided.”
This is a message for today and tomorrow,
Because the enemy of the Ummah rejoices when we are divided,
But when we unite, we become a force.
We are one Ummah, we are brothers for Allah,
Shia and Sunni, within Islam,
Let our differences not be walls between our hearts.
One Lord, one Quran, one Qibla,
One Ummah, Tanzania stand up, show the world.
Muslims can differ without hating one another.
Who is our Lord? Allah.
Who is our Prophet? Muhammad.
Who are we? One Ummah.
Tanzania, stand as an example of unity,
Shia and Sunni, brothers under Allah.
